Keynote Speaker - Dr. Sam Bore
Dr. Sam K. Bore’ is an Associate Professor and Chair of Counseling Programs in the School of Behavioral Health and Human Services at the University of North Texas at Dallas. He holds a Ph.D. in Counseling from Texas A&M University – Commerce and is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a national certified counselor (NCC). Dr. Bore’ has an impressive academic background, having published over 20 peer-reviewed scholarly papers in research areas such as group work in schools, school counselor and administrators’ collaboration, ethics in school counseling, self-injury among teenagers, cultural straddling among immigrants and refugees, and spirituality. He is also an experienced speaker, having presented at many state, national, and international conferences

Grace Chege, an influential community leader and public speaker, has made a significant impact through her manifold gifts and various roles within the church and the broader community. As the Founder and Director of the Favored Daughters of the King (FDK), a nonprofit organization established in 2014 in Dallas, Texas, Grace is passionate about empowering, validating, educating, and equipping women to reach their full potential.

Born in Kenya, she has made a significant impact with soul-stirring tracks like “Nani Kama Wewe” and “Ameni.” Her vulnerability and passion for God shine through her vocals, making her a beloved artist in the Gospel music scene

Favored Daughters of the King (FDK) Gala: The event featured inspiring speakers, including Pr. Leiba, Kathleen, Dr. Mapa, Musi Kiarie, and Mercie Cheronyie. They shared insights on resilience, faith, education, wellness, brand ambassadorship, and community engagement. Their messages left attendees motivated to cultivate their inner strength and uplift others.

Favored Daughters of the king Gala Launch what a glorious occasion. The speakers were amazing, the daughters came in all styles looking fabulous before their King of Kings.
